Funding for the conference is generously provided by the KPMG Foundation, in conjunction with the&nbsp;<\/span>Accounting&nbsp;Resources&nbsp;Centre<span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">&nbsp;at Chicago Booth.<\/span><br style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\" \/><br \/>\n\t<br style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\" \/><br \/>\n\t<span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">To encourage submissions across a broad set of research areas, the theme of the 2019 conference is &quot;Current Topics in Accounting Research.&quot; We invite the submission of theoretical, empirical, and experimental studies that advance our understanding of any area of accounting research.<\/span><br style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\" \/><br \/>\n\t<br style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\" \/><br \/>\n\t<span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">As is traditionally the case with the Journal of Accounting Research conference, papers selected for inclusion in the conference are published in the annual conference issue in the spring of the year following the conference (the inclusion of conference papers in the conference issue is, as always, subject to satisfactory resolution of the editorial review process).<\/span><br style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\" \/><br \/>\n\t<br style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\" \/><br \/>\n\t<span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Papers should be submitted electronically through the links provided on the Journal of Accounting Research web site,&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/hq.ssrn.com\/GroupProcesses\/RedirectClick.cfm?partid=1076704&amp;corid=5147&amp;runid=18226&amp;url=http:\/\/research.chicagobooth.edu\/arc\/journal-of-accounting-research\" style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">http:\/\/research.chicagobooth.edu\/arc\/journal-of-accounting-research<\/a><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">.
