Annual Conference with Doctoral Masterclasses 2020<\/span><\/p>\n

Tuesday 31 March–Wednesday 1 April 2020 with Doctoral Masterclasses Monday 30 March 2020<\/span><\/p>\n

The British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA) is pleased to announce the 2020 Annual Conference in Southampton. Our strategic aims are to be:<\/span><\/p>\n

• a vibrant association of choice for accounting and finance academics;<\/span><\/p>\n

• the voice and resource of the accounting and finance community; and<\/span><\/p>\n

• campaigners for accounting and finance research and pedagogy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Call for Papers for the Annual Conference<\/span><\/p>\n

We invite submissions of full papers on any topic from academics, final-year PhD students, and practitioners in the disciplines of accounting and finance. The deadline for online submissions is 6 December 2019 and the submissions system will open on 2 September 2019. Please visit http:\/\/www.bafa.ac.uk\/events\/upcoming-events\/ for details. Papers will be reviewed by a scientific committee involving subject specialists drawn from our special interest groups and associates. As we are increasing the number of different events at the conference this year, there will be some restrictions placed on the number of presentation slots available. We aim to provide a showcase for innovative research and teaching in accounting and finance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our Early Career Researcher sessions will allow final-year PhD students and those who have completed their PhD within the last five years an opportunity to present their work and get feedback from invited faculty and others in smaller sessions.<\/span><\/p>\n
