The conference has an agreement with the Southern African Journal of Accountability and <\/span>Auditing Research to give special consideration to all conference papers submitted to<\/span>SAJAAR.<\/span> Click here<\/span> to view the Editorial Requirements.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Participants can submit either abstracts or full-length papers to the conference. Full-length papers will be submitted for double-blind peer review. The review of conference papers is provided courtesy of the Centre for Critical Accounting and Auditing Research (CCAAR) <\/span>which is based in South Africa. The Centre acts as a forum for research into accounting and <\/span>auditing and adopts a broad social and political context, focusing on issues of sustainability <\/span>as well as embracing historical perspectives and utopian visions of accounting. The <\/span>researchers in the Centre and international researchers affiliated to the Centre represent a <\/span>South African hub for accounting and auditing research that explores and seeks to address <\/span>urgent 21st century issues relating to integrated reporting, ecological and biodiversity <\/span>accounting and auditing, often approaching research through a critical accounting lens.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

ABSTRACTS & FULL PAPERS:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Abstracts should include the paper’s title and be followed by an overview of the research, structured using the following sub-headings: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

– Purpose (mandatory)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

– Design\/methodology\/approach (mandatory)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

– Findings (mandatory)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

– Research limitations\/implications (if applicable)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

– Practical implications (if applicable)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

– Social implications (if applicable)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

– Originality\/value (mandatory)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The abstract should be a maximum of 300 words (including keywords). A list of 3 to 6 key words (separated by semi-colons) should follow immediately after the abstract. Authors wishing to receive review comments on their work should submit full-length papers for review in addition to their abstracts. These should be formatted using the guidelines for either <\/span>Meditari Accountancy Research<\/a> or the <\/span>Southern African Journal of Accountability and Auditing Research<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
