To stimulate scholarship and thought, beginning April 3, we are hosting a weekly webinar series that will be open to accounting faculty and doctoral students. We are announcing the inauguration of the Miami Accounting Webinar Series and would like you to inform your faculty and doctoral students to invite them to join us on April 10, 2020. The seminars will be held each Friday from noon to 1 PM beginning April 3.<\/p>\n<p>\tOur first speaker, on April 3, was Shiva Rajgopal from Columbia University. This week&#39;s speaker is DJ Nanda, from University of Miami.<\/p>\n<p>\tREGISTRATION: Interested academics can register at our website and receive instructions on accessing the webinar:<\/p>\n<p>\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bus.miami.edu\/accounting-webinars\">https:\/\/www.bus.miami.edu\/accounting-webinars<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\tand<\/p>\n<p>\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bus.miami.edu\/thought-leadership\/academic-departments\/accounting\/accounting-workshops.html\">https:\/\/www.bus.miami.edu\/thought-leadership\/academic-departments\/accounting\/accounting-workshops.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\tFORMAT:<br \/>\n\tThe website will provide up-to-date information regarding upcoming webinars. The webinars are held on Zoom and last 60 minutes:<br \/>\n\t20 minutes of presentation<br \/>\n\t40 minutes of audience Q&amp;A<\/p>\n<p>\tA moderator collects audience questions in chat.<\/p>\n<p>\tModerators may ask you to unmute yourself to participate in the discussion. Please note that you may be recorded if you activate your audio or video during the seminar.<\/p>\n<p>\tThese details are subject to change.
