This initiative started following the widespread cancellation of seminars because of the COVID-19 situation, with the aim of allowing colleagues to disseminate their research findings to a large and informed audience, while simultaneously enabling scholars from a range of institutions to engage with current research projects.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe previous edition was a success and the EAA has decided to make the VARS a regular event for the EAA community. The EAA VARS for 2020-21 is now a monthly event, organised and coordinated by the EAA Virtual Activities Task Force.<\/p>\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/eaa-vars.com\/\">EAA Virtual Accounting Research Seminar Series (VARS)<\/a>&nbsp;will take place&nbsp;on Fridays at 16.15 CET on Zoom, with a start date of December 4.
