MÖDAVICA 2021, is an international accounting conference which aims to bring together leading academia, researchers and scholars. The conference enables participants to exchange and share their experiences and research findings on all aspects of Accounting. It also provides an interdisciplinary platform for participants to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, propositions and hypotheses developed for challenges in the field of Accounting. Prospective authors are kindly encouraged to contribute to conference through submissions of their research abstracts which includes original and unpublished outcome of conceptual, empirical, and\/or theoretical work in all areas of Accounting.<\/p>\n

The theme of MÖDAV\u0130CA 2021 is “New Dynamics of Accounting – Transformation in Theory and Practice”. The conference welcomes following topics and is open to studies with different approaches in the field of accounting.<\/p>\n

Financial Accounting, Cost and Managerial Accounting, Auditing, Internal Audit, Tax Accounting, Forensic Accounting and Fraud Audit, CT Management and Audit, Governance Risk Management and Control, Corporate Governance and Sustainability, Financial and Non-financial Reporting, Social Responsibility Reporting, Integrated Reporting, New Business Models and Accounting, Natural Capital Management and Accounting, Accounting Theory and New Perspectives, Effects of New Trends to Businesses and Accounting, The Effects of Covid-19 to Accounting and Auditing, Crisis Management and Accounting, Practical Problems Faced on the Implementation of Accounting and Auditing Standards, Green Accounting Extended<\/p>\n

Abstracts must be submitted by August 23, 2021. The extended abstract should include the following sections:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \n\t\tAbstract and Keywords,<\/li>\n
  2. \n\t\tIntroduction, should include the purpose of the study and the research question, the literature including the relevant theories, hypotheses and research results.<\/li>\n
  3. \n\t\tMethodology, should include the details of the methodology chosen in accordance with the research question and supported by the theoretical background.<\/li>\n
  4. \n\t\tFindings, should include the findings or preliminary findings of the study, if any, in empirical studies.<\/li>\n
  5. \n\t\tConclusion, should include the general conclusions from the findings, the contribution of the study to the application and research field, limitations, future study proposals.<\/li>\n
  6. \n\t\tReferences Sections can be divided into different titles and can contain subheadings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Extended abstracts should not exceed 5 pages (including tables and references), should be prepared in 11 pt Times New Roman, with normal margins, in APA format and in English or Turkish. The abstracts book will be shared with the participants electronically.<\/p>\n

    After the conference, the full papers will have the opportunity to be included in fast-track review of THE WORLD OF ACCOUNTING SCIENCE journal. Abstract submissions should be sent to modavica2021@modav.org.tr.<\/p>\n
