EAA is pleased to announce the new series of “Meet the Editors” events.<\/p>\n

For the healthy future of our accounting academe, it is essential that PhD students and junior faculty learn how to navigate the increasingly high expectations set on the quality of research work. This series of events will provide early career scholars with an opportunity to learn and discuss how to successfully manage the competitive process of paper publication. <\/p>\n

The first EAA “Meet the Editors” virtual session will take place on Zoom on December 6, 2021 at 4.00 pm CET (e.g. Brussels time), featuring Martin Walker<\/a>, the Senior Editor of the EAA’s PhD Mentoring Initiative<\/a> (PMI). The EAA PMI aims to help PhD students refine their research proposals and enhance the overall quality of their work by accessing timely advice and feedback from some top accounting researchers. The PMI is a resource open to all European PhD students in accounting. The scope of the PMI is any area of accounting research, broadly defined. As such, the PMI welcomes submissions in all subject areas and theoretical perspectives, and across the various paradigms, methodologies, and styles of conducting that research.<\/p>\n
