However, automation of the work environment increasingly requires new hires to demonstrate these competencies. One solution to accelerate students&rsquo; professional development is to implement faculty-guided experiential learning courses. The primary learning outcome of the experiential learning component is to improve student&rsquo;s collaboration, communication and critical thinking skills that augment the technical and analytical skills emphasized in financial accounting, tax and audit courses.
