The next Accounting Research Workshop will take place at the University of Zurich, Switzerland, on June 29\u201330, 2023. The workshop aims to promote the exchange and discussion of state-of-the-art research in accounting. We invite papers analyzing issues in Managerial Accounting, Financial Accounting and Auditing from an economic perspective. The primary focus of the workshop is on papers that use economic modelling. Empirical and experimental papers that test economic models will also be considered for the workshop.<\/p>\n

Possible Topics
\n\u2013\u2013 Corporate governance and executive compensation
\n\u2013\u2013 Economics of financial and nonfinancial reporting, and standard setting
\n\u2013\u2013 Economic roles of auditing
\n\u2013\u2013 Financial disclosure, earnings management, and cost of capital
\n\u2013\u2013 Performance measurement and incentive design
\n\u2013\u2013 Transfer pricing and budgeting<\/p>\n

\nAn electronic version of the submitted paper should be sent to
\nmanagerial.accounting@business.uzh.ch<\/a>
\nThe deadline for paper submission is February 01, 2023. As in previous years, we will assign a discussant to each paper. We therefore expect presenters to act as a discussant for other papers. To allow for early travel planning, the acceptance decision will be taken in a timely manner but no later than March 31, 2023.<\/p>\n
