The International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) in conjunction with the European Accounting Association (EAA) and the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) will hold a virtual research workshop on\u00a018 November 2022 at 12.00-14.00 (CET)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The seminar will explore issues relating to digital financial reporting and digitalisation of financial reports. The workshop will be structured in three sections:<\/p>\n

1) What is digital financial reporting?<\/p>\n

2) IFRS Accounting Taxonomy, and<\/p>\n

3) Digital reporting and standard-setting.<\/p>\n

The session will be moderated by EAA President Annalisa Prencipe. Each section will include short presentations by IASB and EFRAG staff and an academic reflection by Holger Daske (University of Mannheim) and Nick Rowbottom (University of Birmingham) followed by questions and comments from the audience to be addressed by the presenters, IASB member Ann Tarca, EFRAG CEO Saskia Slomp and EFRAG staff member Didrik Thrane-Nielsen.<\/p>\n
