{"id":4291,"date":"2023-01-15T15:37:07","date_gmt":"2023-01-15T14:37:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eaa-online.org\/arc\/events\/"},"modified":"2023-01-15T15:37:07","modified_gmt":"2023-01-15T14:37:07","slug":"2nd-workshop-building-research-capacity-in-social-and-environmental-accounting-research-reflections-on-the-urgency-of-environmental-crisis","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/eaa-online.org\/arc\/events\/2nd-workshop-building-research-capacity-in-social-and-environmental-accounting-research-reflections-on-the-urgency-of-environmental-crisis","title":{"rendered":"2nd Workshop \u201cBuilding research capacity in Social and Environmental Accounting Research: reflections on the urgency of environmental crisis\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This workshop will take place the 18th October 2023, immediately before the 14th CSEAR Spain Conference (XIV Reuni\u00f3n de Investigaci\u00f3n en Contabilidad Social y Medioambiental) that will be held the 19th and 20th October 2023 in University headquarters in the city of C\u00f3rdoba, organized by University of C\u00f3rdoba and CICSMA from Pablo de Olavide University.<\/p>\n<p>Purpose and Introduction<br \/>\nThis second workshop intends to continue reflecting on how to foster research capabilities, social infrastructure, research funding opportunities, knowledge co-creation and engagement opportunities with practice and profession, policy making and education with the aim of seriously addressing the urgency of environmental crisis from our research community.<br \/>\nCurrent socio-environmental crisis demands imagination, collaboration, commitment and short term action from different fields.
