The Department of Accountancy at Tilburg University is proud to organize its annual Tilburg Winter Symposium and Research Camp on December 7-8, 2023<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Additional Information<\/h3>\n
The two-day event builds upon the long-standing tradition of the Tilburg Spring\/Winter Camp and aims to bring together accounting researchers and practitioners to discuss emerging issues in the field of accounting. This years\u2019 symposium and research camp focuses on the theme Empowering Accounting with AI.
\nThe first day will feature keynotes and panel discussions by leading academics and practitioners in the field. The second day will bring together accounting researchers to share and discuss their latest research. Given the intimate nature of the event, we encourage all participants to attend both days.Participate!
\nFor the second day of the event, we invite submissions of original papers addressing research questions related to this year\u2019s conference theme Empowering Accounting with AI. This includes, but is not limited to studies that examine issues such as:
\n-The role of the accountant in AI Accountability
\n-Skill-sets for accounting professionals in the age of AI
\n-Necessary standards for the risk management of AI
\n-AI for decision\u2013making and control
\n-Measurement of AI impact<\/p>\n

Paper Submission Procedure:
\nPapers should be submitted in PDF format to\u00a0tilburgwintercamp@tilburguniversity.edu until October 08, 2023. There will be slots reserved for submissions from non-tenured faculty and early career researchers. Authors of accepted papers will be notified about the acceptance no later than October 16, 2023. Travel and accommodation will be provided for the presenters of invited papers.<\/p>\n
