Paper submission deadline for RADS 2024 is extended to FRIDAY, MARCH 1st, 2024!<\/p>\n

Rutgers Business School proudly presents the inaugural Rutgers Accounting Doctoral Symposium (RADS), scheduled for April 5th, 2024 (Friday), hosted online via Zoom. This pioneering event aims to serve as a dynamic platform for accounting doctoral students, facilitating the exchange of innovative ideas, fostering collaborative efforts, enhancing preparedness for the academic job market, and providing an opportunity for detailed feedback on research endeavors and presentations.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Date: April 5th, 2024
\n\u2022 Mode: Online via Zoom<\/p>\n

Unique Symposium Features:
\n\u2022 Student-Led Initiative: The symposium is uniquely designed and led by doctoral students, augmented by insights and guidance from faculty members.
\n\u2022 Focus on Collaboration and Feedback: A key focus is to enable students to interact, collaborate, and receive critical feedback in a nurturing environment.<\/p>\n

Call for Submissions:
\n\u2022 Eligibility: We invite original, solo-authored paper submissions from current accounting Ph.D. students (excluding final-year students who expect to start faculty positions in Fall 2024).
\n\u2022 Topics: Submissions can span various topics and methodologies, including but not limited to Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Auditing, Tax, Accounting Information Systems, and various research methodologies (Empirical, Analytical, Experimental, Surveys, Field Studies).
\n\u2022 Awards: Five papers will be selected for presentation. Each selected paper’s author will receive a “Best Paper Award” and a $1,000 monetary prize. Additionally, the best presenter, as rated by audience feedback, will receive the \u201cBest Presenter Award\u201d and an additional $1,000.<\/p>\n

Participation Details:
\n\u2022 Audience: The symposium is open to all PhD students and faculty members. Registration is required but at no cost.
\n\u2022 Interactive Feedback: Participants will play a crucial role in providing feedback and influencing the Best Presenter Award decision.

Submission Guidelines:
\n\u2022 Format: Submit papers in PDF format.

\n\u2022 Notification: Authors of accepted papers will be notified by March 10th, 2024.
