The 26th University of Illinois Symposium on Auditing Research will be held on the Urbana-Champaign campus on Friday, October 25, 2024 (with a reception the prior evening). The Symposium is preceded by the 6th Illinois Audit Doctoral Consortium on the afternoon of Thursday, October 24, 2024.<\/p>\n

The Symposium brings top audit scholars together to discuss interesting, current audit research. Papers should address audit research questions that advance our current knowledge and that employ any rigorous research method. Papers on all audit and assurance-related topics are welcome and high-quality, innovative topics, data, subjects, and methods are particularly encouraged.<\/p>\n
The 6th Illinois Audit Doctoral Consortium will include presentations from two top audit scholars and research presentations from three to four doctoral students. Consortium attendees are invited to stay for the Symposium.<\/p>\n
Submission Details
\nPlease send a regular and an anonymous version of your paper to accysymposium@illinois.edu by May 31, 2024. Your email should identify the corresponding author\u2019s contact information and indicate, as applicable, other symposia or conferences at which the submitted paper has been or will be presented and the paper\u2019s status in the publication process. Also, please indicate who the presenting author will be. Submissions with doctoral student authors for which the student is willing to present the paper will also be considered for the Doctoral Consortium unless authors designate otherwise upon submission.<\/p>\n
