Submissions are now open for the inaugural Accounting Forum Conference, December 11-13, 2024,
\nwhich will be hosted by the University of South Australia (UniSA) Centre for Markets Values and
\nInclusion. We welcome papers from accounting (and non-accounting) academics from all geographic
\nareas.<\/p>\n
Accounting Forum publishes authoritative yet accessible articles which advance our knowledge of theory
\nand practice in all areas of accounting and related subjects, and welcomes papers with an interdisciplinary approach in these areas. Through this inaugural conference, we aim to promote greater
\nunderstanding of the role of business and accounting in the global environment, and provide a forum for
\nthe intellectual exchange of academic research covering a range of topical issues and contemporary
\ndevelopments in accounting and accounting-related fields.<\/p>\n
In line with Accounting Forum\u2019s vision, the theme of this conference is to bring together researchers in
\naccounting and related areas from varying viewpoints, approaches and paradigms; provide a forum for
\nways we might bridge the gaps in our understanding; and broaden the scope of discussions beyond our
\nown research groups. As such, papers addressing any interesting accounting-related research question,
\nusing appropriate research methodologies and research paradigms, are welcomed. Innovative approaches are encouraged.<\/p>\n
Attendees will include academics, practitioners and PhD students at all levels of experience, and involved with all aspects of theory and practice in accounting and related disciplines. The conference will be open to submissions from across the broad spectrum of accounting research and will also offer a Special Themed Track which will be the subject of a Special Issue of the journal.<\/p>\n

\nParticipation will be limited to 25 scholars. Only those with an accepted submission may register for the
\nESC. Please see details on the ESC page of the website.<\/p>\n
\nThe conference will take place at the University of South Australia City West Campus, Hawke Building,
\n55 North Terrace, Adelaide.<\/p>\n
\nThe event will kick off in the afternoon of December 11 with an Emerging Scholars Colloquium (ESC),
\nfollowed by two full conference days. The ESC and Conference dinners, and lunch on all three days will
\nbe included in the conference registration fee. The conference will conclude at the end of day of December 13.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
