Papers are invited in the broad areas of accounting, auditing, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, education, finance, management accounting, tax, and other related fields. Best paper awards and outstanding reviewer awards will be presented at the conference. All papers at this year\u2019s conference will be subject to blind peer review. AFAANZ encourages new and developing researchers to attend the conference. This year we will again extend a discount to full-time higher degree research students.<\/p>\n<p>AFAANZ 2025 will be held face-to-face at the Sofitel Brisbane Central in Queensland, Australia. The two plenary speakers at the conference will be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Professor Ren\u00e9e Adams, University of Oxford<\/li>\n<li>Professor Clinton Free, University of Sydney<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Guidelines for Submission<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Papers can now be submitted at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.openconf.org\/afaanz2025\/openconf.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.openconf.org\/afaanz2025\/openconf.php<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Papers will only be considered if at least one author is an individual member of AFAANZ, with members enjoying a reduced registration fee for the conference. To become a member of AFAANZ, please go to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.afaanz.org\/membership\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.afaanz.org\/membership<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>All submitted papers will undergo a blind review process conducted by the Technical Committee. To maintain the integrity of this process, please ensure that your submission contains no identifying information. This includes your name, address, email, acknowledgments, or any expressions of gratitude. The first page of your manuscript should only include the paper&#8217;s title, abstract, and keywords. Any additional information typically found on a cover page must be entered during the online submission process.<\/p>\n<p>While there is no required manuscript format or page limit, full working papers are expected for submission.<\/p>\n<p><b>Submission Date<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Papers must be submitted by Friday, 7 February 2025, 5pm Australian Eastern Daylight Time.
