Review of Accounting Studies 2025 Conference – Call for Papers

\nIndian School of Business, Hyderabad, India<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Editors of the Review of Accounting Studies (RAST) are pleased to announce a Call for Papers for a conference on \u201cCurrent Topics in Accounting Research,\u201d which will be hosted by the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad, India. Papers accepted for the conference will also be considered for publication in RAST\u2019s September 2026 Conference Issue.<\/p>\n

TOPICS:<\/strong> We welcome submissions on a wide range of current accounting topics, including valuation and accounting quality, fintech, corporate social responsibility, sustainability reporting, disclosure, auditing, and tax.<\/p>\n

Papers should adhere to RAST\u2019s traditional standards of academic rigor.<\/p>\n

USEFUL KNOWLEDGE:<\/strong>\u202fPreference will be given to papers that provide meaningful implications that are relevant to researchers and have the potential to inform policies and practices.<\/p>\n

KEY INFORMATION:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Submission deadline: Friday, May 23, 2025, by 11:59 PM, Pacific Time (PT)
\n\u2022 Notifications: Decisions will be communicated to authors by late August 2025
\n\u2022 Best Paper Prize: A cash prize of USD $5,000 will be awarded for the best paper, based on a vote of conference attendees
\n\u2022 Other Opportunities: Papers not accepted for the conference may still be considered for general publication in RAST<\/p>\n
