{"id":6008,"date":"2025-04-08T11:31:14","date_gmt":"2025-04-08T09:31:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eaa-online.org\/arc\/events\/"},"modified":"2025-09-24T09:14:34","modified_gmt":"2025-09-24T07:14:34","slug":"20th-eufin-the-conference-of-accounting-in-europe-2025-2","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/eaa-online.org\/arc\/events\/20th-eufin-the-conference-of-accounting-in-europe-2025-2","title":{"rendered":"20th EUFIN \u2013 The Conference of Accounting in Europe 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>BACKGROUND<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are pleased to announce the 20<sup>th<\/sup> EUFIN \u2013 The Conference of Accounting in Europe, which will take place at the University of Bristol Business School on <strong>August 28<sup>th<\/sup> &amp; 29<sup>th<\/sup>, 2025.<\/strong> Continuing the Conference\u2019s tradition, the 2025 conference will offer parallel sessions with sufficient time to present and discuss academic research papers. In addition, panel sessions will allow academics, standard setters, regulators, practitioners, and other stakeholders to come together to discuss current matters of interest to the European accounting community.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TARGET AUDIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The workshop offers a platform for researchers to present their work and to participate in accounting policy debates. Early career academics are especially invited to participate and profit from the fruitful atmosphere of the conference. Topics of interest may include but are not restricted to, financial and sustainability reporting, governance, accountability, and tax concerning the EU or particular Member States, economic and regulatory issues of corporate reporting and standard setting, auditing, and enforcement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CALL FOR PAPERS <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Papers on any aspect of corporate reporting in Europe are invited. Practice and policy-oriented research papers are particularly welcome. Papers written in English should be submitted electronically no later than 6<sup>th<\/sup> June 2025 via the conference website <a href=\"https:\/\/eufin-conf.org\/\">https:\/\/eufin-conf.org\/<\/a>. Papers will be subject to a blind review process. Authors will be notified of acceptance by 4<sup>th<\/sup> July 2025.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ACCOUNTING IN EUROPE \u2013 FAST TRACK &amp; PAPER DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In collaboration with<strong> <em>Accounting in Europe<\/em> <\/strong>we invite papers that investigate policy-relevant topics in line with <em>Accounting in Europe<\/em>\u2019s aim and scope to follow\u202fa fast-track process for publication in the Journal. In addition, we invite PhD candidates and early career scholars to submit their work for a dedicated <em>Accounting in Europe<\/em> paper development workshop, during which thorough feedback and guidance will be provided.
