Contemporary Accounting Research (CAR) is unique in many ways. It is the only \u201cCanadian\u201d Financial Times 50 (FT50) journal\u2014yet it is truly international in authorship, readership, and influence. CAR stands for excellence, diversity, and impact. Among the leading accounting journals, it publishes some of the field\u2019s most methodologically and substantively diverse research\u2014work that spans the full range of roles accounting plays in markets, organizations, and society.<\/p>\n

We invite you to submit your paper to the 41st CAR Conference. We welcome high-quality research on any accounting topic, provided it reflects the rigorous application of a well-aligned method. The conference will be held in the multicultural city of Montr\u00e9al, founded in 1642, and will continue to celebrate CAR\u2019s diversity and innovation. The conference will take place at Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al (UQ\u00c0M) and McGill University.<\/p>\n

Submission Process
\nSubmissions to the conference are submissions to CAR and must follow CAR\u2019s submission processes. When submitting to the online system, choose article type \u201c2026 CAR Conference.\u201d Submission fees for conference papers, payable by VISA or MasterCard, are the same as submission fees for regular CAR submissions. Submissions to the CAR conference are accepted only in English.<\/p>\n

Deadline: Submissions must be received in CAR\u2019s Editorial Manager no later than 4:59 p.m. EDT on April 1, 2026.<\/p>\n

Papers not accepted for the conference and submissions received after the deadline will be treated as regular CAR submissions. Papers accepted for the conference are usually published in CAR; however, the ultimate disposition of each manuscript will be determined through the journal\u2019s normal review process. Authors will be notified of the initial decision regarding their conference submission by late July 2026.<\/p>\n

Recherche comptable contemporaine (RCC) est unique \u00e0 bien des \u00e9gards. Il s’agit de la seule revue \u00ab canadienne \u00bb class\u00e9e au Financial Times 50 (FT50), mais elle est v\u00e9ritablement internationale en termes d’auteurs, de lectorat et d’influence. RCC est synonyme d’excellence, de diversit\u00e9 et d’impact. Parmi les principales revues comptables, elle publie certaines des recherches les plus diversifi\u00e9es sur le plan m\u00e9thodologique et substantiel dans ce domaine, couvrant l’ensemble des r\u00f4les que joue la comptabilit\u00e9 sur les march\u00e9s, dans les organisations et dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Nous vous invitons \u00e0 soumettre votre manuscrit au 41e colloque RCC. Nous acceptons les recherches de haute qualit\u00e9 sur tous les sujets li\u00e9s \u00e0 la comptabilit\u00e9, \u00e0 condition qu’elles refl\u00e8tent l’application rigoureuse d’une m\u00e9thode bien align\u00e9e. Le colloque se tiendra dans la ville multiculturelle de Montr\u00e9al, fond\u00e9e en 1642, et continuera de c\u00e9l\u00e9brer la diversit\u00e9 et l’innovation de RCC. Il aura lieu \u00e0 l’Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al (UQ\u00c0M) et \u00e0 l’Universit\u00e9 McGill.<\/p>\n

Processus de soumission
\nLes soumissions au colloque sont des soumissions \u00e0 RCC et doivent suivre les processus de soumission de RCC. Lorsque vous soumettez votre manuscrit via le syst\u00e8me en ligne, choisissez le type d’article \u00ab Colloque 2026 RCC \u00bb. Les frais de soumission pour les articles du colloque, payables par carte VISA ou MasterCard, sont les m\u00eames que les frais de soumission pour les soumissions r\u00e9guli\u00e8res \u00e0 RCC. Les soumissions au colloque RCC ne sont accept\u00e9es qu’en anglais.<\/p>\n

Date limite : Les soumissions doivent \u00eatre re\u00e7ues dans la plateforme Editorial Manager de RCC au plus tard \u00e0 16 h 59 HAE le 1er avril 2026.<\/p>\n

Les manuscrits qui ne sont pas accept\u00e9s pour le colloque et les soumissions re\u00e7ues apr\u00e8s la date limite seront trait\u00e9s comme des soumissions r\u00e9guli\u00e8res \u00e0 RCC. Les manuscrits accept\u00e9s pour le colloque sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement publi\u00e9s dans RCC ; toutefois, la d\u00e9cision finale concernant chaque manuscrit sera prise dans le cadre du processus d’examen normal de la revue. Les auteurs seront inform\u00e9s de la d\u00e9cision initiale concernant leur soumission au colloque d’ici la fin juillet 2026.<\/p>\n
