The School provides ample resources to support a variety of research interests and activities (Business Source Complete, WRDS, Thomson Reuters Eikon, Datastream and Bloomberg among others), and has comparative advantage in promoting cross-disciplinary research that is needed in the modern business world. The School maintains an excellent network with overseas institutions for collaborative work. Over the last few years, faculty members have been successful in publishing their research papers in top-tier refereed international journals in areas of (amongst others): management control systems, costing practices, corporate social responsibility, performativity in organizations, executive compensation, internal capital markets, corporate governance, capital structure, economic consequences of ownership structures, M&amp;A activities, corporate spin-offs, dividend policy, corporate social responsibility, entrepreneurship and small business economics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px; margin: 0px 0px 1em; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\"><strong style=\"color: rgb(0, 31, 70);\">Job Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px; margin: 0px 0px 1em; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\">The candidate is expected to show evidence of strong teaching skills and\/or professional experience and a commitment to research excellence. He\/she will teach at undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate levels and also contribute to the design and development of the Department&rsquo;s programs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px; margin: 0px 0px 1em; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\">Applicants should possess a PhD in Management Accounting\/Control and be able to provide evidence of publications (and\/or demonstrate the potential to publish) in reputable academic journals. Applicants should be completely fluent in English as all courses will be taught in this language.
