\n\tAcademic Environment<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
\n\tWHU has more than 50 faculty members in the fields of management, finance and accounting, economics, entrepreneurship and innovation, marketing and sales, and supply chain management. Research at WHU adheres to three research principles: quality, internationality, as well as practical and academic relevance. WHU faculty consistently publish their research in the most prestigious journals. The position is based in the Finance and Accounting Group.<\/div>\n

\n\tJob Description<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
\n\t\u25aa Conducting teaching across the various WHU degree programs in English<\/div>\n
\n\t\u25aa Performing research in the field of Financial Accounting and\/or Business Taxation, contributing to research activities of the WHU Financial Accounting and Tax Center, and publishing in leading research journals<\/div>\n
\n\t\u25aa Mentoring final theses (Bachelor, Master, MBA)<\/div>\n
\n\t\u25aa Contributing to academic conferences<\/div>\n
\n\t\u25aa Performing services to the academic community<\/div>\n
\n\tJob Qualifications<\/div>\n
\n\t\u25aa Ph.D. or equivalent academic qualification in Financial Accounting, Business Taxation or a closely related discipline<\/div>\n
\n\t\u25aa Outstanding research record as evidenced by publications in leading academic journals, presentations at excellent conferences, or a promising research pipeline<\/div>\n
\n\t\u25aa Teaching experience, especially in English<\/div>\n
\n\t\u25aa Outstanding English communication skills<\/div>\n
\n\t\u25aa International experience is advantageous<\/div>\n

The appointment is initially for three years and can be extended for an additional three years conditional upon a positive mid-term review. Major cities are dotted along the banks of the river and within easy travel distance. Koblenz marks the meeting point of the Rhine and Mosel rivers.
