The ARC&rsquo;s goal is to stimulate research productivity, inspire educators, expand the accounting community, enhance the exchange of ideas, and improve high-quality team collaboration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10.6667px; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">The EAA is looking for a new Social Media Manager who will be in charge of the social media activities including a&nbsp;<\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">holistic social media strategy<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">&nbsp;&ndash; not only of the EAA ARC but of the European Accounting Association as a whole. Communication through social media is becoming more and more important, and its effective management can significantly contribute to the ongoing success of the ARC as well as of the Association.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10.6667px; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">Specific qualifications for being Social Media Manager of the EAA are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10.6667px;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t\tVery good communications skills<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t\tHaving been an EAA member for at least two years<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t\tA demonstrable interest and high level of knowledge in using social media including, being active on platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, or Instagram<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t\tFamiliarity or high interest with blog postings and content scheduling<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t\tAbility to work in a timely and constructive manner with the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/eaa-online.org\/arc\/accounting-resources-centre-committee\" style=\"text-decoration-line: none; color: rgb(51, 51, 102);\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 128, 204);\">ARC team<\/span><\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.eaa-online.org\/r\/get_involved\" style=\"text-decoration-line: none; color: rgb(51, 51, 102);\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 128, 204);\">other EAA Committees<\/span><\/a>&nbsp;on social media matters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10.6667px; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">In keeping with the EAA&rsquo;s Governance Guidelines, this call for applications is the first stage in the selection process.
