We invite candidates to apply for an academic position in management control at the Department of Management Control and Information Systems at the University of Chile.<\/p>\n

The Department of Management Control and Information Systems (DCS) is one of the academic departments of the School of Economics and Business at the University of Chile. The potential candidate can come from the fields of Accounting, Business Administration or Management. A strong commitment to high-quality research is a must. Previous research output in management control is highly valuable.<\/p>\n

Job Description & Qualification<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Department of Management Control and Information System (DCS) at the University of Chile (https:\/\/dcs.uchile.cl\/) invites applicants for an associate professor position in the area of management control. This is a full-time position, starting when the position is filled. Flexibility about the starting date is possible.<\/p>\n

We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate expertise in the area of management control, or study topics such as performance management, incentives or organizational culture. The ideal candidate would hold a Ph.D. in Accounting, Management, Business, Business Administration or equivalent, and have well-rounded capabilities in teaching and research. Applicants should be able to deliver excellent teaching at both undergraduate and graduate level, and pursue their own independent research, publishing in high quality academic journals, participating in conferences, and demonstrating their ability to apply and obtain funds for research. The position in management control is particularly oriented towards strategic management.<\/p>\n
