Key research areas within the group include advanced modelling and prediction, visual and cognitive analytics, and information governance and security. Deakin Business School has both EQUIS and AACSB accreditation.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of Department will be responsible for overseeing the direction, strategy and performance of the group and ensuring effective collaboration and management of all academic aspects of the Department, including enhancing and nurturing the Department\u2019s research profile, generating external research income, further developing industry engagement and international collaboration, and managing their workforce\/workforce planning.<\/p>\n<p>Deakin Business School subscribes to the notion of \u2018leadership by example\u2019. Accordingly, in addition to being an effective and collaborative leader, the successful candidate will also be a highly regarded Professor in their own right, and the capacity to positively shape, develop and influence the activities of colleagues and stakeholders.
