The new researcher will join our Financial Accounting Group to work on
\n“ESG Reporting and Disclosure for firms’ survival” project funded by ALMAIDEA University of Bologna Research Grant.
\nThe project aims to examine both the\u00a0#sustainability<\/a>\u00a0#reporting<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0#disclosure<\/a>\u00a0of Italian firms with particular focus on the content and quality of information disclosed about risk and\u00a0#ESG<\/a>\u00a0issues.
\nThe identification of a set of ESG KPIs, the valuation of the firms\u2019 sustainability and the economic consequences of disclosure are the main objectives of this project.<\/p>\n

Commitment & contract<\/strong>: 1 year contract – from 1st January to 31st December 2023
\nOutcome<\/strong>: 1 high quality publication
\nGross Salary<\/strong>: 24,000 euro
\nLocation<\/strong>: Department of Management of University of Bologna (Financial Accounting Research Group:) and smart-working.
\nRequirements:<\/strong>
\n-Master Degree in\u00a0#Economics<\/a>,\u00a0#Accounting<\/a>,\u00a0#Statistics<\/a>\u00a0and related areas.
\n#PhD<\/a>\u00a0title is not mandatory but preferable.
\nNote: both\u00a0#PhD<\/a>\u00a0Students and\u00a0#postdoc<\/a>\u00a0Researchers are suitable for this position.
\n-Skills: Python skills and NPL package to perform text analysis are preferable, STATA, Microsoft Office, platforms design skills
\n-Prior experience in empirical research is required.
\n-The ability to properly report, organize and manipulate and analyse data
\n-Good command in spoken and written English
