\nWHU has more than 50 faculty members in the fields of management, accounting and finance, economics, entrepreneurship and innovation, marketing and sales, and supply chain management. Research at WHU adheres to three research principles: quality, internationality, as well as practical and academic relevance. WHU faculty consistently publish their research in the most prestigious journals. The position at hand will be part of the Institute of Management Accounting and Control. Under the joint directorship of Professor Marko Reimer and Professor Utz Sch\u00e4ffer, the institute bundles the numerous teaching and research activities of the associated professors and doctoral students.<\/p>\n
\n\u25aa Performing research in the field of empirical, qualitative management accounting
\n\u25aa Collaborating closely with other researchers at the institute
\n\u25aa Conducting teaching across the various WHU degree programs in English
\n\u25aa Mentoring final theses (Bachelor, Master, MBA) and doctoral students<\/p>\n
\n\u25aa A completed or nearly-completed PhD in accounting, management, sociology or closely related disciplines with a qualitative research orientation
\n\u25aa Trajectory of research with potential for leading publications in accounting
\n\u25aa Interests in critical, interdisciplinary or sociological research in accounting
\n\u25aa Desirably previous teaching experience, especially in English
\n\u25aa Good verbal and written communication skills<\/p>\n
