Assistant Professor (tenure-track) or Associate Professor (tenured) in Accounting
\n(13\/B1 \u2013 SECS-P\/07 Economia Aziendale) and in Finance (13\/B1 \u2013 SECS-P\/09 Finanza Aziendale)<\/p>\n
Job Description and Position
\nThe two positions are offered either at the Assistant Professor (tenure track) or at the Associate Professor Level in Accounting (scientific sectors SECS-P\/07) and Finance (SECS-P\/09 according to the Italian academic system), depending on the candidates\u2019 qualifications.
\nThe Assistant Professor position entails a 3-year tenure track. Tenure is granted upon meeting the national requirements to qualify as associate professor. Teaching load is maximum 90 contact hours per year.<\/p>\n
The Associate Professor position is tenured, full time, with a teaching load of 120 contact hours per academic year.<\/p>\n
The annual gross salary – net of employer-paid social security contributions – is approx. \u20ac37.000 (Assistant Professor) or \u20ac 55.000 (Associate Professor). Whilst this is not negotiable, the faculty member will enjoy bi-annual increases upon meeting targets as defined by the University of Padua. The salary is subject to employee-paid social security contributions and Italian income tax.
