The IFRS Foundation in conjunction with the European Accounting Association (EAA) will hold a virtual workshop on 27 November 2020 at 12.00-13.35 (CET)<\/strong>. The workshop will provide an overview of the IFRS Foundation Trustees\u2019 Consultation Paper on Sustainability Reporting and invite commentary from academics. The aim of the consultation paper is to find out if there is a demand for global sustainability standards and what possible role the Foundation could play. The purpose of the session is to obtain feedback from academics on the consultation paper and to encourage the submission of comment letters.\u00a0 The seminar will be structured in three sections: 1) Introduction to the workshop topic \u2018Standard setting for sustainability reporting\u2019; 2) Overview of the Trustees\u2019 consultation paper, and 3) Call for comment letters. The session will be moderated by EAA President Thorsten Sellhorn. IFRS Foundation Trustee Michel Madelain, Executive Director Lee White and IFRS Foundation staff will address questions and comments from the audience.<\/span><\/p>\n
