Hopwood, who played a prominent role in the creation and development of the EAA. The previous recipients of the award are Stephen Zeff, Sten J\u00f6nsson, Michael Shields, Willem Buijink, John Christensen and Peter Walton.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10.6667px; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt;\">The award is made each year at the EAA Annual Congress, subject to there being a worthy recipient.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10.6667px; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt;\">The Anthony G. Hopwood Award is intended to recognise academic excellence, combined with academic leadership and contribution to the EAA.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10.6667px;\">\n<p style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10.6667px;\"><span style=\"color: #8b4513;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt;\">Nominations<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10.6667px; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt;\">Nominations are sought from all members of the EAA.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10.6667px; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt;\">Current members of the EAA Management Committee, Committee Chairs, current EAA journal editors, and members of the Nominating Committee are ineligible to receive the award.\u00a0<u>Self-nominations are not permitted<\/u>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10.6667px;\">\n<p style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10.6667px;\"><span style=\"color: #8b4513;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt;\">Award Committee<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10.6667px; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt;\">The EAA Management Committee has appointed Juan Manuel Garcia Lara as Chair of the Award Committee, Caren Schelleman and Thorsten Sellhorn as additional members.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10.6667px; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt;\">The Award Committee will solicit and receive all nominations made for the Anthony G.
