However, we have been able to organize a new event within the VARS seminar series.<\/p>\n<p>Professor\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rmit.edu.au\/contact\/staff-contacts\/academic-staff\/c\/carnegie-professor-garry\">Garry Carnegie<\/a>\u00a0will present his work on \u201cRedefining Accounting for Tomorrow: Accounting for Shaping a Better World\u201d. To accommodate the time zone of the speaker, this event will still place on March\u00a04<span style=\"font-size: 10px;\">,<\/span>\u00a02022\u00a0but will start <strong>at 10.30am (CET)<\/strong>. Register\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/us02web.zoom.us\/meeting\/register\/tZwrc-2vqjksGNR3HwCEswXLcqkgRXudJWHa\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We offer junior scholars the opportunity to join a discussion session with the speaker just before the seminar, between 9.45am and 10.15am (CET). The discussion will focus on Garry\u2019s paper \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/epdf\/10.1111\/auar.12325\">It\u2019s 2020: What is Accounting Today?<\/a>\u201d and its proposed definition of accounting appearing also in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifac.org\/knowledge-gateway\/preparing-future-ready-professionals\/discussion\/redefining-accounting-tomorrow\">IFAC Knowledge Gateway<\/a>.
