Taxi journeys that start at the airport are always more expensive because they have a minimum fare of 12 &euro; that includes an extra charge of 5.40 &euro;. Most taxis do not allow credit card payments, so be sure to have some exchanged money when arriving. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-size: 12px\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif\"><strong>By underground:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span><span style=\"font-size: 12px\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif\">In total, the Valencia underground system has 9 different lines; you can distinguish them more easily by its colours, but be sure to be going on the correct direction. These nine lines cover the city centre and it surrounds neighborhoods and towns, being the map divided into 4 zones (A, B, C and D). Prices vary on these zones.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span><span style=\"font-size: 12px\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif\">There are two underground lines that link the airport, the city centre and the port : Line 3 Rafelbunyol \/ Aeroport and Line 5 Mar&iacute;tim Serrer&iacute;a \/ Aeroport. Walk north for 5-10 minutes (Meli&aacute; Valencia Hotel, Sorolla Palace Hotel, and Conference Centre are about 400 metres). Fare: 1.50 &euro; (single ticket, zone A, cardboard price not included. It costs 1 &euro;. It is reusable. You can either recharge it with the same type of ticket or charge it with a different type once the prior ticket charge has been used). More info: Metrovalencia website.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">     <span style=\"font-size: 14px\"><strong><span><span style=\"font-family: verdana,sans-serif\">Arriving by train<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;text-align: justify\"><span><span style=\"font-size: 12px\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif\">There are very comfortable trains from the main Spanish cities<\/span><\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\">(<span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.renfe.com\/EN\/viajeros\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span>http:\/\/www.renfe.com\/EN\/viajeros\/index.html<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span><span><span style=\"font-size: 12px\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif\">). The high speed train (AVE) from Madrid (Puerta de Atocha) and Seville (Santa Justa), and the Euromed service from Barcelona (Sants) and Alicante all arrive at the new principal station &lsquo;Val&egrave;ncia-Joaqu&iacute;n Sorolla&rsquo;. The second station &lsquo;Val&egrave;ncia-Nord&rsquo; is the central station for the local train network. There are also two outdoor car parks with room for 22 coaches and 45 authorized vehicles.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;margin-left: auto\"><span><span style=\"font-size: 12px\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif\">The parking fee is 1.5 &euro; per hour (for the use of the car park for less than 12 hours). Daily fee is 12 &euro;.
