Milan<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Milan is a cosmopolitan and modern city that combines the best of Italy’s past and present, while keeping a sharp eye on the future. Due to its geographical position, it represents a gateway to Europe and is close to a multitude of other interesting Italian cities and attractions.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It is rich in art, history and culture, such as the world-renowned La Scala opera house, the huge gothic Cathedral Duomo, the medieval Castello Sforzesco and Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Also known as “The Fashion Capital of the World,” Milan is definitely the main financial, industrial and commercial center of Italy, and home to Italy’s biggest banks and insurers, as well as the Italian Stock Exchange. Other standout sectors include food, furniture and design, but Milan and the Lombardy Region boast a very broad-based mix of industries that includes technology, engineering, manufacturing, chemicals and pharmaceuticals.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
