The late fee will be automatically charged if your payment has not been received by 28 February 2019. Alterations to the registrations will only be accepted in writing.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color:#003366\"><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14px\"><strong>Confirmation<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>  Upon receipt of your registration form and payment by&nbsp;credit card, the Congress Secretariat will confirm your participation in the conference. You will receive a formal confirmation in due course.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px\"><span style=\"color:#003366\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif\"><strong>Registration fees (in Euros)<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-size: 12px\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\">PhD early registration&nbsp;fee&nbsp;(until 28 February 2019):&nbsp; &euro; 250,- + membership fee 2020:&nbsp; &euro; 24,20 with digital journals or &euro; 48.40 with printed journals<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#003366\"><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif\">Early registration&nbsp;fee&nbsp;(until 28 February 2019):&nbsp; &euro; 450,- + membership fee 2020:&nbsp; &euro; 60,50 with digital journals or &euro; 84,70 with printed journals<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-size: 12px\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\">PhD late registration fee &nbsp;(as of 1 March 2019):&nbsp; &euro; 320,- + membership fee 2020:&nbsp; &euro; 24,20 with digital journals or &euro; 48,40 with printed journals<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#003366\"><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif\">Late registration fee &nbsp;(as of 1 March 2019):&nbsp; &euro; 520,- + membership fee 2020:&nbsp; &euro; 60,50 with digital journals or &euro; 84,70 with printed journals<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-size: 12px\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\">PhD onsite registration fee (as of&nbsp;28 May 2019):&nbsp; &euro; 370,- + membership fee 2020:&nbsp; &euro; 24,20 with digital journals or &euro; 48,40 with printed journals<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#003366\"><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif\">Onsite registration fee (as of&nbsp;28 May 2019):&nbsp; &euro; 570,- + membership fee 2020:&nbsp; &euro; 60,50 with digital journals or &euro; 84,70 with printed journals<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#003366\"><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif\">Accompanying person registration fee: &euro; 250,-<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color:#003366\"><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif\">The EAA&nbsp;membership fee includes 21%&nbsp;Belgian VAT.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color:#003366\"><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif\">This event offers <strong>a reduction of &euro; 200,- for all PhD students <\/strong>who are attending the EAA Annual Congress.&nbsp; To qualify for the &euro; 200,- fee reduction, you will be asked to submit proof of your PhD student status during the registration. <u>You will be able to complete your registration only after having been informed by&nbsp;the person responsible for registrations that you are entitled to get the discount<\/u>.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color:#003366\"><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif\"><strong>The registration fee includes<\/strong>: Early Bird Reception,&nbsp;Welcome Reception, Gala&nbsp;Party, lunch and coffee breaks during the conference, admission to all scientific sessions, all congress materials and administration costs.&nbsp;The EAA membership fee&nbsp;for 2020&nbsp;is mandatory and invoiced together with the registration fee (except for accompanying persons). You have the choice between a membership including a digital copy of the EAA journals (EAR and AinE) a<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size: 12px;text-align: justify\">nd a membership including additionally a paper copy of the EAA journals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color:#003366\"><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif\">For PhDs the membership fee including a digital copy of the EAA journals is &euro; 20,- (exclusive of Belgian VAT 21%) and a membership including additionally a paper copy of the EAA journals for &euro; 40,- (exclusive of Belgian VAT 21%).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size: 12px;text-align: justify\">For Academics the membership fee including a digital copy of the EAA journals is &euro; 50,- (exclusive of Belgian VAT 21%) and a membership including additionally a paper copy of the EAA journals for &euro; 70,- (exclusive of Belgian VAT 21%).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>  <span style=\"color:#003366\"><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif\">We are happy to receive accompanying persons with the delegates to Paphos. <strong>The registration fee&nbsp;for accompanying persons includes <\/strong>the Early Bird Reception, the Welcome Reception&nbsp;&nbsp;and the Gala&nbsp;Party, but no admission to the academic sessions.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color:#003366\"><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14px\"><strong>Methods of payment<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>  Please follow the instructions given on the online registration form regarding payment of the conference fee. All payments must be made in Euros. Payments should be made in advance (before 22 May&nbsp;2019) and only via one of the two following credit cards: <strong>Visa<\/strong> or <strong>Mastercard<\/strong> (debit cards are not accepted).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color:#003366\"><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif\">Admission to the meeting is granted only if the Congress Secretariat has received the registration fee.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px\"><span style=\"color:#003366\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif\"><strong>Refund registration fee and cancellation policy<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color:#003366\"><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif\">In case of cancellation <strong>before 8 May 2019<\/strong>, you will have to pay 50% of the conference fee. For cancellations <strong>on or after&nbsp;8 May 2019<\/strong>, there will be no refund. Please note that your&nbsp;EAA membership fee 2020 is not refundable.<\/span><\/span><\/span><br \/>   &nbsp;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color:#003366\"><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif\">In case you are unable to attend the meeting, a substitute delegate is welcome at no extra charge. However, the original participant should provide a letter of authorization together with a letter of cancellation to the Congress Secretariat <strong>before 8 May 2019<\/strong>. This information should include the name of the substitute delegate.<\/span><\/span><\/span><br \/>   &nbsp;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif\"><span style=\"color:#003366\">All cancellations must be made in writing via&nbsp;e-mail to the Congress Secretariat (<\/span><strong><a href=\"mailto:hebbelynck@eiasm.be\"><span style=\"color:#0080CC\">hebbelynck@eiasm.be<\/span><\/a><\/strong><span style=\"color:#003366\">)<\/span><span style=\"color:#003366\">.&nbsp;Delegates who do not cancel and do not attend, will still be responsible for the full registration fee.<\/span><\/span><\/span><br \/>   &nbsp;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color:#003366\"><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif\">The organization reserves the right to alter the venue if necessary.<\/span><\/span><\/span><br \/>   &nbsp;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color:#003366\"><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif\">In the event that the EAA Congress cannot be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the Congress Organisers (Force Majeure*) or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence of the Congress Organisers, the Congress Organisers cannot be held liable by attendees for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, financial losses, or any other indirect losses or consequential damages.\n<p>   Under these circumstances, the Congress Organisers reserve the right to either retain the entire registration fee and to use it for a future congress, or to reimburse the attendee after deducting costs already incurred for the organisation of the Congress and which could not be recovered from third parties.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color:#003366\"><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif\">* <em>An event of force majeure shall include, without limitation, Acts of God, war, riot, fire, explosion, accident, flood, earthquake, sabotage, strike of employees other than those of EAA, inability to obtain power, fuel, material or labor or acts of any government<\/em>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>  &nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Registration &amp; Fees &nbsp; How to register?
