Class Room Session on <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>Good Teaching Practices<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With this session the EAA wants to launch a new initiative in the area of education. So far the EAA provided a network and support to enhance the research capabilities of academics. These days education performance takes up a more important place in academic evaluations than before. There are several possible ways to help academics with teaching and organizing class room sessions at a conference, is one possibility. In a class room session, the audience fulfils the role of the students and the presenting academic illustrates his\/her new teaching approach with respect to a certain topic or method. This is the first "class room session" organized at an EAA conference. After this session, we will distribute a survey to find out how the EAA could help academics also with their teaching responsibilities and if there is a need to do so. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
