Corona virus implications for EAA Annual Congress 2020<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The preparations for the EAA Annual Congress of 2020 continue. Given nearly 1,000 early-bird registrations by the end of February, the EAA is fully committed to doing whatever it takes to organise the Congress as planned.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As the corona virus situation<\/strong> evolves, please be assured that we are actively monitoring the <\/span><\/span><\/span>WHO statements<\/span><\/span><\/a>, <\/span><\/span><\/span>travel advice<\/span><\/span><\/a> and <\/span><\/span><\/span>safety precautions<\/span><\/span><\/a> – continually assessing their implications for potential congress delegates. The recommended safety precautions will be provided at the Congress. Please also view the coronavirus infographic<\/a> for your perusal.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To accommodate your uncertainty, the EAA Management Committee has decided to give authors of accepted papers an extended opportunity to register for the congress <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>until March 31, 2020<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/strong>, and to have their paper included in the congress program. Registration as well as our cancellation policy are available <\/span><\/span><\/span>here<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
