 <\/p>\n

The <\/span>EAA PhD Forum<\/strong>, launched in 2013, is an initiative of the EAA to help and promote PhD students in accounting. The PhD Forum is part of the EAA Annual Congress. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The PhD Forum will take place<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>on Tuesday 25<\/strong>th<\/sup> May 2021 from 14.00 to 16.00hrs <\/strong>in a virtual format<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The PhD Forum is a great opportunity for research master students<\/strong>, PhD students <\/strong><\/em>as well as for Assistant Professors<\/strong><\/em> or Lecturers in Accounting <\/strong><\/em>who do not have a permanent position yet, or Postdocs in Accounting <\/strong><\/em>to network and gain insight into academic accounting research and its environment through the speakers. The Forum, which is open to PhD students pursuing research in any topic areas (financial accounting, managerial accounting, audit, tax, etc.) and using any research method (analytical modelling, behavioural, case study, empirical-archival, etc.) related to the EAA, may also provide information as to how to establish contacts for entering the job market.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Objectives<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

  1. To complement EAA's offering in terms of doctoral education and emerging scholar promotion;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. To foster networking of doctoral students with established scholars and each other;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. To increase the visibility of EAA and its Accounting Research Center (ARC) within the community of doctoral students.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    Attendance will be limited to those PhD students and emerging scholars who are registered to the Congress.<\/u><\/p>\n

    Registration to the PhD Forum 2021 can only be done simultaneously with the registration to the EAA Virtual Congress 2021 via the online registration system. <\/strong>Please note that you will be asked to send a proof:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
