INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT CONNECTIONS TO BERGEN  <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The numerous direct routes make the city easily accessible with a minimum of travelling time. Pre corona there were frequent flights from major European hubs; thirty daily to Oslo, six daily to Copenhagen, four to Amsterdam, two to London Gatwick and two to Stockholm. There are also direct routes to Paris, Munchen, Z\u00fcrich, Madrid, Hamburg – and over 40 other destinations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bergen Airport is situated about 10 miles south of the city center. Bergen Airport is situated about 11 miles south of the city centre. Most of the international car rental companies are represented at the airport, and the shuttle bus and light rail services \u201cBybanen\u201d are excellent.<\/span><\/p>\n

AIRLINES <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The largest airlines at Bergen airport are Norwegian, SAS and Wider\u00f8e. KLM is also well established, and in 2018 they expand their operations introducing Air France with daily operations to Paris. Other airlines that operate in the route schedule at the airport are Wizz Air, Finnair, Icelandair, Atlantic Airways, Vueling, SWISS, Loganair and Danish Air transport.<\/span><\/p>\n

TRANSPORT FROM BERGEN AIRPORT FLESLAND TO THE CITY CENTRE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 DISTANCES <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It is 16 km to the center of Bergen. The trip takes about 20 minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

AIRPORT BUS <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Airport Express bus stops outside the main terminal building. The bus drives an express route that only takes 20 minutes to Bergen city center, with departures every 10 minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

The nearest bus stop for Grieghallen is located 300 m from the location.<\/span><\/p>\n

LIGHT RAIL <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Bergen Light Rail takes you all the way to and from the airport. Departure every 5 minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

The light rail stop is right outside the terminal. Tickets for Bergen Light Rail can be bought using the app, at the Light Rail stop, or from the ticket machine in the baggage claim area (credit cards will be accepted). The nearest stop to Grieghallen is located 400 m from Grieghallen and many of the hotels in the city center.<\/span><\/p>\n

TAXI <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Taxis stop just outside the terminal building. Six different taxi companies operate in the Bergen region. If you have special needs, the taxi company will gladly help you, or you can pre-book a taxi from the desired company.<\/span><\/p>\n
