The late fee will be automatically charged if your payment has not been received by 28 February 2023. Alterations to the registrations will only be accepted in writing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Confirmation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Upon receipt of your registration form and payment by&nbsp;credit card, the Congress Secretariat will confirm your participation in the conference. You will receive a formal confirmation in due course.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Registration fees (in Euros)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PhD early registration fee (until 28 February 2023):&nbsp; \u20ac 300,- + membership fee 2024:&nbsp; \u20ac 24,20 with digital journals or \u20ac 48.40 with printed journals<\/li>\n<li id=\"question-title-96898455\" class=\" question-title-container \"><span class=\"user-generated notranslate \">Early registration fee (until 28 February 2023):&nbsp;&nbsp;\u20ac 500,- + membership fee 2024:&nbsp; \u20ac 60,50 with digital journals or \u20ac 84,70 with printed journals<\/span><\/li>\n<li>PhD late registration fee &nbsp;(as of 1 March 2023):&nbsp;&nbsp;\u20ac 350,- + membership fee 2024:&nbsp; \u20ac 24,20 with digital journals or \u20ac 48,40 with printed journals<\/li>\n<li>Late registration fee &nbsp;(as of 1 March 2023):&nbsp;&nbsp;\u20ac 550,- + membership fee 2024:&nbsp; \u20ac 60,50 with digital journals or \u20ac 84,70 with printed journals<\/li>\n<li>PhD onsite registration fee (as of 10 May 2023):&nbsp;&nbsp;\u20ac 400,- + membership fee 2024:&nbsp; \u20ac 24,20 with digital journals or \u20ac 48,40 with printed journals<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Onsite registration fee (as of 10 May 2023):&nbsp;&nbsp;\u20ac 600,- + membership fee 2024:&nbsp; \u20ac 60,50 with digital journals or \u20ac 84,70 with printed journals<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Accompanying person registration fee: \u20ac 300,-<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The congress registration fees include 24% Finnish VAT. The EAA membership fee includes 21% Belgian VAT.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">The PhD discount has reached the cap on 17 February at 14:00 CET.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This event offers special rates for <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>a number of PhD students<\/em> <\/span>who would like to attend the EAA Annual Congress. A reduction of \u20ac 200 on the conference fee is available <strong>to the first 200 qualifying PhD students<\/strong>. To qualify for the \u20ac 200 fee reduction, you will be asked to submit proof of your PhD student status during the registration. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">You will be able to complete your registration only after having been informed by the person responsible for registrations that you are entitled to get the discount.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The registration fee includes<\/strong>: Early Bird Reception, Welcome Gala Dinner, lunch and coffee breaks during the conference, admission to all scientific sessions, all congress materials and administration costs. The EAA membership fee for 2024 is mandatory and invoiced together with the registration fee (except for accompanying persons). You have the choice between a membership including a digital copy of the EAA journals (EAR and AinE) and a membership including additionally a paper copy of the EAA journals.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For PhDs the membership fee including a digital copy of the EAA journals is \u20ac 20,- (exclusive of Belgian VAT 21%) and a membership including additionally a paper copy of the EAA journals for \u20ac 40,- (exclusive of Belgian VAT 21%).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For Academics the membership fee including a digital copy of the EAA journals is \u20ac 50,- (exclusive of Belgian VAT 21%) and a membership including additionally a paper copy of the EAA journals for \u20ac 70,- (exclusive of Belgian VAT 21%).<\/p>\n<p>We are happy to receive accompanying persons with the delegates to Espoo. <strong>The registration fee&nbsp;for accompanying persons includes&nbsp;<\/strong>the Early Bird Reception, the Welcome Gala&nbsp;Dinner, but no admission to the academic sessions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Methods of payment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please follow the instructions given on the online registration form regarding payment of the conference fee. All payments must be made in Euros. Payments should be made in advance (before 22 April&nbsp;2022) and only via one of the two following credit cards:&nbsp;<strong>Visa<\/strong>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<strong>Mastercard<\/strong>&nbsp;(debit cards are not accepted).<\/p>\n<p>Admission to the meeting is granted only if the Congress Secretariat has received the registration fee.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Refund registration fee and cancellation policy<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">In case of cancellation&nbsp;<strong>before 8 April 2023<\/strong>, you will have to pay 50% of the conference fee. For cancellations&nbsp;<strong>on or after 8 April 2023<\/strong>, there will be no refund. Please note that your EAA membership fee 2024 is not refundable.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">In case you are unable to attend the meeting, a substitute delegate is welcome at no extra charge. However, the original participant should provide a letter of authorization together with a letter of cancellation to the Congress Secretariat&nbsp;<strong>before 8 April 2023<\/strong>. This information should include the name of the substitute delegate.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">All cancellations must be made in writing via&nbsp;e-mail to the Congress Secretariat (<span style=\"color: #0090cc;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0090cc;\" href=\"mailto:hebbelynck@eiasm.be\">hebbelynck@eiasm.be<\/a><\/strong><\/span>).&nbsp;Delegates who do not cancel and do not attend, will still be responsible for the full registration fee.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The organization reserves the right to alter the venue if necessary.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the event that the EAA Congress cannot be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the Congress Organisers (Force Majeure*) or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence of the Congress Organisers, the Congress Organisers cannot be held liable by attendees for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, financial losses, or any other indirect losses or consequential damages.Under these circumstances, the Congress Organisers reserve the right to either retain the entire registration fee and to use it for a future congress, or to reimburse the attendee after deducting costs already incurred for the organisation of the Congress and which could not be recovered from third parties.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">*<em>An event of force majeure shall include, without limitation, Acts of God, war, riot, fire, explosion, accident, flood, earthquake, sabotage, Internet failure\/blackout, strike of employees other than those of EAA, inability to obtain power, fuel, material or labor or acts of any government<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How to register?
