The EAA Education Committee together warmly invite you to a complementary Hackathon education workshop AI-Driven Sustainability: Transforming Accounting Education for a Sustainable Future. It is an immersive hackathon designed to inspire, empower, and equip accounting educators with the skills to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching sustainability as part of the accounting curriculum. This dynamic workshop will foster collaboration, creativity, and practical innovation, creating actionable strategies that bring sustainability to the forefront of accounting curriculum.
Participants will explore how AI can serve as a catalyst for sustainable development, identifying approaches for teaching accounting that integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues. The event will challenge accounting educators to think beyond traditional boundaries, encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration and the application of AI to real-world problems.
The hackathon is designed to appeal to accounting educators at all experience levels, providing a supportive yet challenging environment to foster growth. By engaging participants in hands-on, collaborative activities, the event will demonstrate how AI can be a supportive tool in assisting accounting educators make the subject accessible for practical application in the teaching and learning of sustainability in accounting.
The event will cultivate a culture of innovation, encouraging participants to experiment with AI tools and techniques that push traditional boundaries. Through interactive sessions and collaborative challenges, educators will create AI-powered strategies that promote sustainability while enhancing the student experience.
