Thanks to its location at the crossroads of European trade routes, Czech architecture is a blend of diverse styles (well, we do not have Antique)
The country boasts countless examples:
- starting from the medieval architecture represented by Romanesque & Gothic
- through the golden age of Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, Neoclassical
- to modern architecture, including Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Modernism, Functionalism, but also Brutalism
Unlike most other countries, the Czech Republic is uniquely rich in Cubist architecture, including its endemic form, Rondocubism
14 Czech architectural sites are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List
