How to register?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Registration for the conference should be done through the EAA online registration system. All participants and accompanying persons must register for the congress. Early registrations are due on 10 March 2026<\/strong>. The late fee will be automatically charged if your payment has not been received by 10 March 2026. Alterations to the registrations will only be accepted in writing.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, the presenter(s) of an accepted paper must<\/strong> register as a participant for the congress before 10 March 2026<\/strong>. Compiling the congress schedule is a monumental task that requires time, effort and coordination between the members of the Scientific Committee, local organisers and the EAA Executive Officer. Authors registering past 10 March at the late fee WILL NOT have their papers included in the programme.<\/strong><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Confirmation<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Upon receipt of your registration form and payment by credit card, the Congress Secretariat will confirm your registration in the congress. You will receive a formal confirmation in due course.<\/p>\n

Starting the 2024 congress, the EAA also supports members in low\/middle income countries by offering a reduction of their membership fees. The membership fees from low\/middle income countries are applicable to delegates whose university is based in the countries listed<\/span> here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Registration fees (in Euros)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

EAA Membership fees<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

All registrants must be members of the EAA 2027. The EAA membership fee for 2027 is \u20ac100<\/strong> (except for members in low or middle income countries). The PhD student membership fee for 2027 is \u20ac24.20<\/strong>. Membership fees include digital access to both EAA journals, European Accounting Review<\/em> and Accounting in Europe<\/em>. <\/p>\n

The EAA membership fee includes 21% Belgian VAT.  <\/p>\n

Registration fees<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Early registration and paper inclusion in the programme (until 10 March 2026): \u20ac575<\/p>\n

Late registration (10 March \u2013 9 May 2026 or by reaching the capacity cap): \u20ac625<\/p>\n

The congress registration fee includes 21% Czech VAT. <\/p>\n

The registration fee includes: Early Bird Reception, Welcome Reception, Gala Dinner, lunch and coffee breaks during the conference, admission to all scientific sessions, all congress materials and administration costs. The EAA membership fee for 2027 is mandatory and invoiced together with the registration fee (except for accompanying persons).<\/p>\n

Please note that a small number of scholarships (equivalent to the full registration fee) will be available for PhD students . More information and the application form are available here<\/a>. Deadline for submitting your application form is 15 January.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Accompany persons <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We are happy to receive accompanying persons with the delegates to Prague. The accompanying persons registration fee is \u20ac300. The registration fee for accompanying persons includes the Welcome Reception and the Gala Party, but no admission to the academic sessions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Methods of payment<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Please follow the instructions given on the online registration form regarding payment of the conference fee. All payments must be made in Euros. Payments should be made during the registration and only via one of the two following credit cards: Visa<\/strong> or Mastercard<\/strong> (debit cards are not accepted).<\/p>\n

Admission to the meeting is granted only if the Congress Secretariat has received the registration fee.<\/p>\n

Refund registration fee and cancellation policy<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. In case of cancellation before 8 April 2026,<\/strong> you will be refunded 50% of the conference fee. For cancellations on or after 8 April 2026<\/strong>, there will be no refund. Please note that your EAA membership fee is not refundable.<\/li>\n
  2. In case you are unable to attend the Congress, a substitute delegate is welcome at no extra charge. However, the original participant should provide a letter of authorisation together with a letter of cancellation to the Congress Secretariat before 8 April 2026<\/strong>. This information should include the name of the substitute delegate.<\/li>\n
  3. All cancellations must be made in writing via e-mail to the Congress Secretariat (hebbelynck@eiasm.be<\/a><\/strong><\/span>). Delegates who do not cancel and do not attend, will not be reimbursed their full registration fee.<\/li>\n
  4. The organisation reserves the right to alter the venue if necessary.<\/li>\n
  5. In the event that the EAA Congress cannot be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the Congress Organisers (Force Majeure*) or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence of the Congress Organisers, the Congress Organisers cannot be held liable by attendees for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, financial losses, or any other indirect losses or consequential damages. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    *An event of force majeure shall include, without limitation, Acts of God, war, riot, fire, explosion, accident, flood, earthquake, sabotage, epidemics\/pandemics, strike of employees other than those of EAA, inability to obtain power, fuel, material or labour or acts of any government.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
