FACULTY POSITION
IÉSEG School of Management at the Catholic University of Lille invites applications for a full-time permanent position in Accounting with a specialization in MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING & CONTROL at all levels (Assistant/Associate/Full) affiliated to the Department of Accounting. The appointment is expected to start in September 2022 in Paris or Lille.

ABOUT THE ACCOUNTING GROUP
The department consists of 20+ academic staff members in the areas of Accounting and Management Control and faculty are represented on both campuses. Faculty members specializing in Management Control have been successful in publishing their research papers in top-tier refereed international journals in areas of (amongst others): management accounting and control systems; sustainability control packages; the dynamics of audit committee practices; and governance and financial reporting ethics.
The School provides ample resources to support a variety of both research interests and methods, and has comparative advantage in promoting cross-disciplinary research that is quintessential for the modern business world. The school is supportive for conducting an innovative research agenda that is relevant for both theoretical substance as well as practical business insights. JOB QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate is expected to show evidence of strong teaching skills and/or professional experience and a commitment to research excellence. He/she will teach at undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate levels and contribute to the design and development of the Department’s programs.
Applicants should possess a PhD in Accounting (or be near completion for the post of assistant professor) and be able to provide evidence of publication potential in reputable academic journals. Applicants should be completely fluent in English as all courses will be taught in this language. Prior knowledge of French is not required as the School will provide French courses to faculty members.
For appointment at the Associate/Full level, applicants are in addition required to have (a) extensive higher education teaching and relevant research experience; (b) a strong publication record in top-tier refereed journals; and (c) good networks in both academia and professional circles at regional and international levels. Candidates with less experience will be automatically considered for appointment at Assistant Professor level.
