September 9-11, 2025
Eastern Mediterranean University Famagusta, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC)
MODAV-ICA 2025, 22nd International Conference on Accounting, is an international conference that aims to bring together leading academics, researchers, and practitioners in the field of accounting. This year, the Conference will be hosted by Eastern Mediterranean University with the theme of “Accountancy: Working Responsibly for the Future”.
One of the most important tools for preparing for a better future is societal awareness and the consciousness of being foresighted. The rapid advancements in technology -such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotic process automation, edge computing, quantum computing, virtual reality, augmented reality, 5G technology, datafication, and digital security- have significantly altered, and continue to alter, our economic, social, and commercial lives, as well as the ways in which we conduct business. These technological developments have not only changed the information required by decision-makers and, consequently, the nature and scope of reporting but have also expanded the responsibility of accounting in fostering a fair and sustainable global economy. Today, accountants with advanced technical skills and high ethical awareness are regarded as leading actors in innovation and transformation.
In the context of the profound changes and transformations currently shaping the economy and business environment, MÖDAV calls for the submission of research papers that address the most relevant and emerging issues in Financial Accounting, Sustainability Accounting and Reporting, Cost Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Tax Accounting, Forensic Accounting and Assurance, both directly and indirectly.
Prospective authors from all over the world are encouraged to submit their Extended Abstracts in Turkish or English which include the original and unpublished outcomes of conceptual, empirical, and/or theoretical work for presentation at the Conference. Extended Abstracts that are not exceeding five (5) pages including references should be written in Times New Roman font, single line spacing, 11 font size in the APA format. Page margins are formed regarding the A4 page size and are 2.5 cm wide from the right, left, top and bottom. Pages should be numbered. For the Extended Abstract Format and the submission please visit www.modav.org.tr
The accepted extended abstracts will be published in the e-Proceedings of MODAV-ICA 2025. The authors of accepted papers may submit full papers for consideration in the peer-review process of Muhasebe Bilim Dünyası Dergisi (The World of Accounting Science Journal) and the revised full-text conference papers may also be published in the Special Issue of the journal.
