Theme: “Sustainable Development and Digitalization: Toward a Responsible Transformation”

The International Interdisciplinary Symposium on Sustainability C2ID 2026 (1st edition) will bring together an international community of researchers, academics, practitioners, public decision-makers, and experts to debate contemporary issues related to sustainable development and digital transformation. This first edition aims to provide a space for rigorous scientific reflection, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the sharing of innovative experiences, drawing upon theoretical, methodological, and empirical approaches, as well as intervention‑research, qualimetric approach, and socio‑economic approaches.


DOCTORAL WORKSHOPS
As part of C2ID 2026, an international doctoral workshop will be organized to support PhD candidates in advancing their research. This workshop is open to doctoral candidates even in the early stages of their dissertation and offers:

  • A constructive space for scientific exchange
  • In-depth feedback from experts
  • Methodological and epistemological guidance

PhD candidates are invited to submit a research report (max. 8,000 words) presenting: problem statement, literature review, theoretical framework, methodology, preliminary results, and references.

A second workshop will be dedicated to advanced training in structural equation modeling (CB-SEM approach) for PhD students and faculty.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Papers may be submitted in the form of an extended abstract or a full paper. Submissions must include 2
documents:
1st Document: A title page containing:

  • The paper title
  • Authors’ names, affiliations, and contact
  • A 15-line abstract
  • Five keywords in both French and English

2nd Document: An anonymized extended abstract or full paper.


IMPORTANT DATES

  • Submission of extended abstracts (750 to 1000 words) will be open from December 15, 2025, to February
    15, 2026.
  • Submissions will be accepted in both English and French.
  • The submission schedule is detailed as follows:
