The Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance (JAAF) is excited to announce the 2026 Conference, hosted by Nagoya University of Commerce & Business (NUCB) Business School, Nagoya, Japan from November 10 through 13, 2026. The JAAF Conference serves as a distinguished platform for scholars and practitioners worldwide to engage in insightful discussions on various dimensions of accounting, auditing, and finance. Alongside enriching academic discussions, the conference presents an opportunity for networking, professional development, and cultural immersion.


Plenary Session Submission:
Papers accepted for the Plenary Sessions will be considered for publication in the JAAF and will undergo a review process in accordance with JAAF policies. For the 2026 JAAF Conference, Professors C. S. Agnes Cheng and Linda Myers will serve as Editors for Plenary Session submissions. Final decisions regarding journal acceptance will be made in consultation with the JAAF Editor-in-Chief. Conference expenses for Plenary Session presenters will be covered up to $1,500 USD for one author per accepted paper. Presenters of accepted papers must register as conference participants and pay the registration fee of $450 USD (or $500 USD after the early-bird discount period).
Papers submitted to the Plenary Sessions should be submitted through JAAF’s website at: https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/jaaf, and the regular submission fee ($200 USD) applies. In the submission letter, authors should indicate that the submission is for the 2026 JAAF Conference Plenary Sessions. Submission to the Plenary Sessions must also be emailed to the JAAF Conference Associate Editor, Dr. ChiaHsiang (Mike) Weng, at jaaf.conference@gmail.com, and authors must indicate whether the paper should be considered for the Concurrent Sessions if not accepted into the Plenary Sessions.


Concurrent Session Submission:
Papers submitted to the Concurrent Sessions only, as well as unaccepted Plenary Session submissions, will be reviewed by the scientific committee co-chaired by Dr. Ken Koga and Dr. Colin Zeng. Best Paper Awards will be presented for both regular papers and PhD student papers. Authors should clearly indicate whether their submissions are to be considered for the PhD Student Paper Award. Papers submitted to the Concurrent Sessions only should be emailed to jaaf2026nagoya@nucba.ac.jp (ref. Ken Koga) together with a proof of the submission fee payment of 50 USD to JAAF. Presenters of accepted papers must register as conference participants and pay the registration fee of $450 USD (or $500 USD after the early-bird discount period). Papers submitted to the Plenary Sessions but rejected and papers submitted to the Concurrent Sessions only can be submitted to JAAF as regular new submissions at a later date.


Submission Rules:
Authors should submit only full papers (i.e., complete scholarly research projects that could reasonably be submitted to a public working paper database such as SSRN). Proposals will not be accepted. A separate file should be submitted, including the title, author names, affiliations, keywords, and any acknowledgments. The main text should include an abstract and no author information. The submissions must be in English.
