2nd Annual Labor and Accounting Group Conference – Call for Papers

Apr 01, 2022
Washington University in St Louis
Mar 01, 2022

The Labor and Accounting Group (LAG) is a research association that encourages the development and dissemination of academic research at the intersection of accounting and labor economics. LAG will host its second annual conference (tentatively in-person) on April 1 and 2, 2022, in St Louis at Washington University in St Louis’s Olin School of Business. We will follow the guidelines related to COVID as issued by Washington University in St Louis at the time of the conference. The conference is open to faculty and PhD students by invitation only.

We invite submissions of high-quality, unpublished empirical and theoretical research in the area of labor or personnel economics and accounting. We favor early-stage research, particularly from untenured faculty (or PhD students), that will benefit from presentation to our audience. Papers can be empirical archival, experimental, field-based, or theoretical.
Paper Submission Procedure: To submit a paper, please email your paper in PDF format to Olin.LAG.Conf@email.wustl.edu. To spur research in labor and accounting, we plan on devoting several sessions to early-stage research in addition to traditional paper sessions. These are shorter presentations of more preliminary work. Submission of a brief proposal (one to two pages in PDF format) is sufficient for consideration. We also welcome completed papers for more traditional paper sessions. The submission deadline is Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Members of the program committee will review all submissions, and we expect to announce the final program and send out conference invitations in mid-March.

Contact Information: General information about LAG is available at laborandaccounting.com. Please direct questions to John Barrios at john.barrios@wustl.edu.
