The Asociación Espanola de Profesores Universitarios de Contabilidad (ASEPUC) welcomes Ph.D. proposals to the 2025 ASEPUC Doctoral Colloquium.
This Colloquium will be held in 2-3 October 2025, hosted by Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Getafe, MADRID).
The ASEPUC Doctoral Colloquium provides a platform for doctoral students to present their research on accounting topics, including (but not limited to) financial accounting, auditing, corporate governance, accounting history, accounting and sustainability, public accounting, or management accounting. The Colloquium offers doctoral students an opportunity to present, discuss, receive feedback, and exchange comments and views in an inspiring academic community of fellow Spanish Ph.D. students and experienced researchers. This is also an opportunity to build academic relationships.
The Doctoral Colloquium calls all interested doctoral candidates to submit their research proposals. The research proposals should typically include the following structure:
There are no length requirements. Proposals may be anything from 2-3 pages to a full paper.
Each submission will undergo a review process. Both early-stage ideas and more advanced projects are welcome, but they should be sufficiently developed so that feedback can be useful.
The Doctoral Colloquium also offers two keynote discussions and an opportunity to gain mentorship on devising the most effective strategy for writing and submitting papers to leading Journals.
It is possible to attend the doctoral workshop without submitting a proposal. Doctoral students in very early stages who have not yet developed a proposal are also welcome and encouraged to attend.
All submissions should be in English and directed to accounting.doctoral.workshop@uam.es as a single PDF file. Questions can also be directed to the same e-mails.
Submission deadline: July 20, 2025.
