This is a call for papers for an academic symposium that aims to bring together scholars from across Europe to present and discuss high-quality research in accounting. This symposium will be the first of an annual series that is meant to provide Europe-based scholars with a forum to share their work and receive constructive feedback. This year, the keynote speaker will be Gaizka Ormazabal.
The first installment of the symposium will be hosted by ESSEC Business School on 3-4 July 2025. We invite paper submissions from professors and PhD students based at European schools (including the UK). We will select five papers to be presented at the symposium. And, for each one, we will invite a discussant from a European school.
Paper submission instructions:
By the deadline of 28 February 2025, submitting authors should send their paper to mary.lee@essec.edu. Accepted papers must be presented by authors who are professors or PhD students at European schools. The presenting authors will have their travel and hotel costs covered by ESSEC. The symposium organizers will send out acceptance decisions by late April.
Symposium organizers:
