Emerging scholars are invited to submit a research proposal (including a literature review, research questions and research design).
This research proposal may be either the proposal for the full PhD trajectory or one that focuses on a part of it.
As such, also the opportunity is provided to discuss ideas about (succeeding) phases of the PhD. Accepted proposals will be presented to an audience of senior colleagues and peers.
Participants are asked to be a discussant of another proposal. During the event, different sessions with Editors of high impact journals will be held.
Submissions are welcome until June 1, 2026 via the EIASM’s online submission system.
Please note that
only accepted submitters can attend this event!
The programme consists of three parts. It will start with a plenary introduction by an invited speaker, followed by a discussion with the participants. After that, the programme will continue with presentations of papers.
During lunchtime, a poster session will be held in which participants can shortly present their work and ask senior colleagues for feedback.Editors from leading journals in the field of public sector financial management will also be invited to participate in the poster session.
A detailed programme will follow. Planned time schedule 9 am to 6 pm.
