The editors of the JAE invite paper submissions for the 2023 JAE conference. Consistent with the aims and scope of the journal, we encourage new and innovative, economics-based research that advances our knowledge. The novelty and innovation might have origins in ideas, theoretical development, databases, methodologies, research design, or the economic setting being examined. We encourage researchers (both within and outside accounting) to address unexplored accounting-related topics and to challenge conventional wisdom using rigorous economic analysis.
PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: The deadline for submissions is March 31, 2023. Early submissions prior to the deadline are welcome.
There is a submission fee of $500, payable by credit card only. Submissions to the JAE are made electronically via https://www.editorialmanager.com/JACEC/
All submitted papers will be reviewed for the Journal of Accounting & Economics using its normal criteria. Papers chosen for the conference and accepted for publication will be printed in a special conference issue in the year following the conference (assuming satisfactory completion of the editorial review process). Papers not chosen for the conference may be considered for publication in a regular issue of the Journal.
Attendance to the conference is by invitation only.
The conference is sponsored by the MIT Sloan School of Management, Charles River Associates, and Cambridge Business Publishers.
